For one woman in my Brooklyn neighborhood it may have been the difference between life and death. This is a real news story folks. A 60 something year old woman was taking out her garbage when a man tried to attack her. I doubt he wanted to steal her garbage bag. Fortunately for her, she had a Key chain sized Pepper Spray on her key ring. She turned around and sprayed him right in the face with it. It gave her time to run back in the house and call the police. The guy was caught a short time later and was arrested. It seems he had used this approach before and forced his way into someone’s house. Not anymore. I gave a big cheer for this woman when I heard this story.
